Mark getting hott

Mark texiera was struggling during the first month of baseball but now its the Mark texiera the Yankees wanted and need. He is playing great defense and is getting good hits. He has 15 homeruns in this young season. He is playing well and as he plays good, so does A-Rod because he is right before him. So he is seeing more fastballs and hitting them better. Mark is showing that he isn't a waste of money because he has been a big part of the Yankees success right now which has led the Yankees to share first place. Mark Texiera has been great so far and he will continue to do better as the season moves along.
As the Yankees get better I see them taking the Division and going all the way. Why?? Because the Yankees are just that good now......

The hot Yankees roll

Since theYankees took 2 games of the series in Toronto the Yankees have been hitting, pitching, and winning. Now you tell me what other team is hotter than the Yankees right now. Exactly, there is none. The Yankees have been taking strong leads in the first innings of all the games they have won and the bullpen has been doing there job of keeping the lead. Its been great work for the Yankees.

Good batting by Robinson Cano, A-Rod, Mark Teixiera, Damon, and Melky have lead to Yankees starting strong and holding on to the victory. Also the pitchers have started to settle down and do their job the right way. Mark is second in HR in the AL and its been a great addition for the Yankees. I see more improved Yankees and i think with the way they are playing they are going all the way.

Walk-Off Weekend

When all fans had doubts, when it seemed as the Yankees were just being paid, this weekend we learned something new. When the Yankees play, they start of slow and end HOT!! The Yankees had 3 straight walk-off wins this past weekend, 2 off homers and 1 of a base-hit. Now I know its just 3 games but this shows many things. It shows that The Yankees love playing the game and they are working hard to improve, they show life. Mark Teixeira has been hitting well lately and he has contributed to the 6 game winning streak that the Yankees are on.
During the weekend I saw team chemistry because the coaches were doing their job and the pitchers were doing their job and the bats did their job. When you add all of that wins start coming and it makes the game more fun. As you can see, the wins show that the Yankees wont call it a game until the game is over and the players are doing their job by playing hard and improving through the season.

In the begining of the season I saw a strong Yankee team on paper but on the field I saw them lazy and not having fun. In 1 weekend I saw everything a championship team has. It has fun, it has team chemistry, and it has heart to play harder.

I was proud of the Yankees this weekend and they showed me that we should not give up on them and that they still have life left in them. As a team I can tell that they will keep on winning and eventually go to the playoffs. But they have to continue to play like that. The Yankees made the baseball games exciting to watch and they made the game as exciting as it can be. Hopefully they do what they did over the weekend for the rest of the season. But who knows?

As of right now, I can say for a fact that the Yankees will work hard to not disappoint us.

Season is still young...

As the baseball season starts, some teams have been disappointing and some teams have been suprisingly good. What grinds my gears the most is how the teams used their money to improve their ball club and how the plan has backfired. The team that disappointed me the most is the New York Yankees. They spent so much money on C.C. Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, and Mark Texiera to improve and it has been pure disappointing since. The only player that has done pretty good is A.J. Burnett. He has been pitching good but the offense hasnt woken up as of yet. The bullpen is doing a poor job of holding the leads and closing it out but knowing the Yankees, they will get back on track and hopefully they will go to the playoffs. The season is still young.
